Southwest Abstractions: A Modernist Tradition

Inspired by the light, culture and natural beauty of the southwest, my main body of work, “Southwest Abstractions,” is a series of atmospheric landscapes celebrating our Land of Enchantment.  The series, abstractions of the southwest landscape, follow a modernist tradition as Influenced by the work of New Mexico's early painters --John Marin, Richard Diebenkorn, Emil Bisttram, and William Lumpkins, among others.
