Tuscan (and other Romantic) Abstractions

Our recent trip to Tuscany, Liguria, Portofino and last year’s trip to Lake Como as well as parts of Austria, Switzerland and Germany have inspired a new series of work.  Whereas my SOUTHWEST ABSTRACTIONS focus on the light and landscape of the high, dry desert, these new works capture the sparkling blue water of the Mediterranean and Italian Lake Country as well as the towering mountains, villas and gardens of some of the most romantic places in Europe.
